Terms of Service — HLP Credit Solutions

1. Services

HLP delivers credit restoration, homebuyer readiness, and financial literacy services under written engagement letters. Deliverables are described in each engagement letter. HLP does not guarantee specific score outcomes, mortgage approvals, or timelines — outcomes depend on your file, discipline, and the discretion of third parties (bureaus, lenders, courts).

2. Fees & Billing

Fees are stated in your engagement letter. Under CROA § 405(b), HLP does not accept advance payment. Fees are billed monthly against milestone completion after services are performed. Payments are due within 14 days. Late payments accrue 1.5% monthly interest.

3. Cancellation & Refunds

You may cancel within 3 business days of signing your engagement letter with no charge (CROA § 407). After that period, you may cancel at any time with 15 days' written notice. You pay only for services performed through the effective cancellation date. HLP does not issue refunds for completed milestones.

4. Your Responsibilities

Provide accurate and complete information
Sign required authorizations (bureau access, dispute letters)
Respond to HLP requests within reasonable timeframes
Not open new credit accounts during active engagement without consultation
Not file duplicate disputes directly with bureaus while HLP is filing

5. HLP's Commitments

Deliver all services in strict compliance with FCRA, CROA, FDCPA, TCPA, GLBA
Use only Metro 2-formatted disputes citing valid consumer rights
Never sell, lease, or share your data without written consent
Provide monthly milestone reports and 3-bureau tracking
Be honest — if we cannot help you, we will tell you

6. No Guarantee

HLP does not and cannot guarantee removal of specific items, specific score outcomes, or mortgage approval. Credit outcomes depend on numerous factors outside HLP's control including bureau investigations, furnisher responses, and lender overlays.

7. Intellectual Property

The Sovereign Credit Framework, HLP methodologies, dispute templates, and all training materials are HLP's intellectual property. You receive a personal, non-transferable license to use them for your own credit sovereignty.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, HLP's total liability for any engagement is limited to the fees you have paid HLP in the twelve months preceding the claim. HLP is not liable for consequential, incidental, or punitive damages.

9. Dispute Resolution

Disputes will first be mediated in good faith. If mediation fails, disputes will be resolved by binding arbitration in Tarrant County, Texas, under AAA Commercial Arbitration Rules. Nothing in this section prevents either party from seeking injunctive relief in court.

10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by Texas law. Venue for any court proceedings is Tarrant County, Texas.
